Drainage Water Management Plan (130) Option 1 - CertificationConservation Planning Training: Successful completion of the NRCS approved training course (available in AgLearn): Conservation Planning-Part 1 (Modules 1-5).
Drainage Water Management Certification: Certification with at least one of the following: 1) Land Improvement Contractors of America (LICA) Certification in the category of Drainage Water Management, OR 2) Agricultural Drainage Management Coalition (ADMC) Certificate of Competency in Drainage Water Management.
Drainage Water Management Plan Development: Develop a Drainage Water Management Plan (130) that meets the criteria listed in Section III of the eFOTG and submit the plan by email, or send a paper copy by mail to your resident State TSP Coordinator.
Drainage Water Management Planning References: Provide two locations or customer references where technical service has been provided that can verify your experience and proficiency in the planning, design, layout, installation, and inspection of Drainage Water Management practices.
FOTG Knowledge: Knowledge of the NRCS electronic Field Office Technical Guide as related to the specific criteria to be addressed in the development and implementation of a NRCS Drainage Water Management Plan.
National Planning Procedures Handbook: Knowledge and understanding of National Planning Procedures Handbook – Title 180 - Part 600
Planning Tools Proficiency: Knowledge, skills and abilities to fully utilize Drainage Water Management Planning tools, e.g., drainage system models (DRAINMOD).
Drainage Water Management Plan (130) Option 2 - EducationConservation Planning Training: Successful completion of the NRCS approved training course (available in AgLearn): Conservation Planning-Part 1 (Modules 1-5).
Drainage Water Management Education: Bachelor or higher level degree in Agricultural/Biological Engineering, Agronomy, or Plant Science, with experience in the successful planning, design, and installation of Drainage Water Management practices.
Drainage Water Management Plan Development: Develop a Drainage Water Management Plan (130) that meets the criteria listed in Section III of the eFOTG and submit the plan by email, or send a paper copy by mail to your resident State TSP Coordinator.
